Love the staff at Premier OB! The doctors stake time to speak with you about any issues, and the staff are quick with check in and vitals. I’ve been with them for a few years and I think they may just be my favorite OB ever.

Valerie is amazing, she always takes her time to thoroughly address any of my concerns or questions. Every provider at this practice has been amazing. Would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new OB group.

I feel heard. It’s so difficult to get doctors to listen to you, but Dr Eye took all my concerns seriously. Brought my mom to my preop appt and she is considering switching to Dr Eye.

She is knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. This was my first women's annual exam in 3 years and she put me at ease with her friendly bedside manner. She addressed my concerns with compassion, and offered some solutions and testing I had not thought of. I trust her with my care and highly recommend her for any of your obgyn needs.

It’s been a few years since I’ve seen Dr. Van Wert and he is so knowledgeable about the latest treatments and medications for women’s issues. And I’ve always felt comfortable bringing up any issues with him.

Valerie Ramsay is kind, calm and patient. You don’t feel rushed when spending time with her; she provides solutions, resources and support in pregnancy. She is a knowledgeable professional that I would safe and supported delivering my baby with.

Premier OBGYN Dr. Dorthy Bestoyong is not the patient advocate you want “supporting” you if you have anything other than a desk job during pregnancy. She had not left any office visit notes post visit from my initial new patient appointment other than “first trimester symptoms” which was not the case. And she has signed her signature on incomplete documentation sent to insurance company.
Any paperwork filed under her name has taken so long to be filled out entirely and received that in all- 2 forms- has taken 10+ weeks during my pregnancy, causing multiple appeal processes, claims closed and then reopened before being properly completed.
Working with Dr. Dorthy Bestoyong has been a huge financial burden and stress on myself and my family throughout my pregnancy and in total I’ve waited 12+ weeks before receiving short term disability payments in two separate occurrences within only the first 6 months of pregnancy.
Her opinion of your profession and whether or not you can safely perform all tasks required of you is just that- her opinion vs. your symptoms, explanation as well as company manual documentation and the entirety of required job tasks and abilities. She completely contradicts herself when you ask job related safety questions. If you are a flight attendant- this is not the central Florida doctor you want supporting your pregnancy.

Premier OBGYN Amanda Murphy PA lacks emotional intelligence and awareness in her bedside manner with patients- this is not who I want to see when I’m in pain during labor. She makes passive aggressive comments right in the first moments of meeting you like “long time no see.” I wanted to say, well we’ve never actually seen eachother before but just kept my mouth shut because I was not participating in that. If she had asked, “how have you been since your last visit pertaining to this pregnancy?” My answer would’ve been that I’ve been maintaining my wellness in this pregnancy with 4 work outs a week, craniosacral therapy, chiropractic adjustments, a lactation consult, massage, acupuncture and have completed my postpartum holistic meal prep since my last visit.
After our initial first minutes together I did not feel safe in explaining myself and also felt that I would’ve been met with even more resistance after declining the glucose testing- she left in the middle of our appointment to contact and consult another doctor about my decline of testing.
So instead of explaining and attempting to defend myself I just kept saying that “it was my personal preference to decline” instead of explaining that I was not in a high risk category- that there is no family history of diabetes or gestational diabetes, that both previous pregnancies glucose tests were negative, that my BMI is lower then 30 and that this is not considered a geriatric pregnancy.
I had a full growth scan done at 32 weeks and 3 days, she told me I had to have another “because it’s done at 34 weeks”- a 1.5 weeks later, that felt like an unnecessary power play and money grab considering how the rest of our conversation went.
