John W. van Wert, MD

Dr. John W. van Wert is a board certified OB/GYN physician, practicing in the Central Florida area for 20 years. Educated at Duke University in North Carolina, Vanderbilt University Medical School in Tennessee and the University of Florida in Gainesville, Dr. van Wert excels in gynecologic surgery, especially laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomies. He has been named as one of Central Florida’s “Top Doctors” for years.

Dr. van Wert is married to Dr. Anne K. van Wert of RDV Sportsplex Pediatrics and has two children. Both Christopher and Alexandra attend Duke University. Dr. van Wert enjoys multiple outdoor sports including cycling, skiing (snow and water) and running, but also loves cooking dinner for his family on a frequent basis.

After delivering babies for over 20 years, Dr. van Wert decided to take on some additional new, exciting and challenging opportunities of patient care. He added cosmetic procedures to his list of skills and, in addition to being a long-standing member of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is now a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Association of Cosmetic Gynecologists. Dr. van Wert has been extensively trained in VASER LipoSelection, Laser and Intense Pulsed Light therapies, as well as Advanced Injectables (Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane and Cosmoplast). He continues to have a very active Gynecology and Surgery practice.

Gene L. Krishingner, Jr., MD

Dr. Gene Krishingner has over 12 years of experience delivering babies and performing advanced gynecologic surgery, gaining a reputation as one of the most skilled and experienced OB-GYNs in the Orlando area. He is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Krishingner pursued undergraduate studies from Southern Adventist University and The University of North Carolina, in Asheville before starting medical school in 1994. He then graduated medical school with a Military Scholarship from the College of Medicine, at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Krishingner then completed a rigorous surgical Internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii where he gained valuable surgical experience. He then completed a combined OB/GYN Residency at the prestigious Brooke Army Medical Center, and the Wilford Hall Medical Center (Air Force Hospital) both located in San Antonio, Texas.

After completing Residency, Dr. Krishingner spent four years as an active duty medical officer in the United States Army where he rose to the rank of Major. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal twice and was nominated for the Bronze Star. His last military assignment was as Chief of Obstetrics at Womack Army Medical Center, in Fort Bragg, NC. He then started private practice in the Orlando Area in 2006.

Dr. Krishingner enjoys spending time with his family and children. He loves water skiing, "barefooting", racquetball, photography and hiking.

His compassionate and friendly approach along with his reputation as an experienced and skillful OB/GYN doctor enable him to provide top notch care in women's health care, obstetrics and advanced gynecology.

Jean Christensen, ARNP

Jean Christensen has been a Nurse Practitioner in women’s health for over 25 years. She expanded her clinical services to include laser aesthetic procedures for the past several years and enjoys seeing the benefits of these procedures for the patients.

Jean loves to travel and her favorite hobby is sewing. She truly is devoted to her patients and enjoys her time with both Premier OB/GYN and Cascades MedSpa @ Premier OB/GYN.

Terri Nesbit, ARNP, CNM

Terri Nesbit graduated from the University of Florida as a certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner. She has devoted all of her nursing career, which spans over 35 years, to women’s health care. Terri is passionate about her family and friends. She has three daughters and two grandsons. Terri is dedicated to her patients and to women’s health care. She is truly an advocate for women and improving their health. She especially likes the care of adolescents and getting them started in the right direction toward a lifetime of healthy choices.
